Techno Forest

This drawing is part of my series exploring mixing the inorganic with the organic. I wanted to see what happens when you take flowers and leaves and make them metal. I specifically started by taking edges that are typically uneven or rounded and made them straight. I also use a lot of hard edges in the shadows and highlights to bring out the metal look to the leaves and petals. This is how it got it’s title “Techno Forest”.
